Worship...Are We Doing It Correctly? Is an expanded publication of a previous booklet entitled Worship Is... a thirty-day guide for individual worship. Between the covers of this book the author adds the contributions of three of his fellow brothers in Christ adding matters pertaining to corporate worship. His friends bring significant years of involvement in planning and executing worship in local churches. James Dodson served over 15 years on the staff of a church which Dr. Lake pastored for 28 years. Jim is known for his excellence in planning and leading worship. He is known as a phenomenal pianist, soloist and worship leader. He and his wife Sharon have three daughters: two living in the US and one in heaven. Dean Jones served as the Minister of Worship for over 20 years at the same church and manifested his leadership capabilities filling other areas of ministry until vacancies were filled. Dean is known for his choral directing and building a 100+ member choir which he lead as a spiritual experience for those who participated. Dean and his wife, Barbara, have been married over 50 years and are proud of their one son, one daughter-in-law and four beautiful grandchildren. For several years (prior to Covid-19) James and Dean joined Charles in conducting bi-annual community hymn sings which attracted over 1000 local church members for each event. The hymn sings spoke loudly of each of their commitments to preservation of the old hymns of the church and their place in today's blended worship. Lynn Keesecker met Dr. Lake when he was a teenager, attending a Christian youth trip to Latin America. As a young, accomplished pianist, Lynn became accompanist for youth camps Charles directed. Lynn's growth in his walk with the Lord lead him to serve with his music talents in several different roles; song writer, pianist, worship leader and chief creative administrator of one of the largest Christian music companies in America. Lynn is the father of three adult children, two sons and a daughter. The four gentlemen are still close friends who meet annually for a spiritual retreat. Dr. Lake feels strongly blessed to have the other three join him in presenting this book.
