Alan Jackson loved being a high school teacher in a small town in the Midwest. He loved everything history and he loved passing all this knowledge on to his students. He felt it was imperative that children learn about the past in order for them to prepare for the future. He never in his wildest dreams ever imagined that he would one day become an integral part of future history. Alan never sought out great wealth or fame. He was after all, a history teacher in a public school in Kansas. Not the typical chosen career in which to become rich or famous. He never wished for any type of power. The most control he possessed was over the choice of decorations in the hallways on Presidents Day. He never thought for a moment that he could impact the lives of more than the students that passed through his classroom, and that was only to ready them for college. He was wrong on all accounts. Everything changed because he tried to impress a girl by taking up rock climbing in one of the flattest states in the country. Alan would become embroiled in national intrigue, a worldwide power struggle that would change the course of history, challenge the largest and most deadly narcotics trafficking network, and be the main focus of a secret operation that ran all the way up to the President of the United States. Fate had left it up to Alan to possibly save the lives of untold millions. This was all due to a unexpected intergalactic force. Unbeknownst to Alan, he would become the ultimate Sheepdog protecting the flock.
