About the Author and Why this Book Brian Clabby has written this his fourth book and second book for the younger children. He has worked in the childcare field for some thirty years both in group home settings as well as student support with the likes of the Toronto District School Board. Despite having had troubled early years, he finally went on the earn a joint BA in Psychology/Sociology from Trent University. He has also had several years experience with searching for lost caregivers as he went onto be a Divisional Superintendent of a local volunteer ambulance brigade. With, his experience working with children and noticing the very disturbing trend of children not knowing what to do if they were to get separated from their caregiver and sometimes dire results Brian Clabby concluded that a book of this sort was a necessity. Children today don't seem to know who or how to ask for help when lost. Brian Clabby sincerely hopes that if even one child can be found safe after learning from this book it is well worth the time and energy, he put into it.
