Michela G. Volpe, a fantasy name corresponding to the female Italian version of Michael J. Fox, describes her life from a health point of view. All the pathologies that have affected her in the various phases of her life have formed a robust character and an amplified awareness of her body/mind, allowing her to always (or almost) emerge victorious and with self-irony, despite the social and physical barriers that have struck herself and her sick family since birth. But Michela in her research has discovered scandals that revolve around foundations, pharmaceutical companies, donations and indeed she has been the subject of one of these events that see money placed above health. With strength and courage and a lot of irony, Michela has now entrusted herself to the miracle of the treatment based on vitamin B1, or thiamine, a panacea for many neurodegenerative diseases that she is giving good results.
