Why Did the Leave? Where Did They Go?

Having visited sites throughout much of the world that used the remnants of their Jewish past to encourage tourism, my wife Ronnie and I often found that these sites no longer had a Jewish presence. The questions: "Why did they leave?" and "Where did they go?" were seldom addressed in the descriptive literature, or by tour guides. Through our travels, personal history, and an examination of the historic record, this book attempts to answer those two questions.
