Christianity has become dragged down by religious structures and traditions. The essence of Christianity - a living relationship with Jesus - is seldom the central message. Morals, behaviors, responsibilities, church memberships, etc., have all become more discussed and expounded upon. Scripture itself has become a focal point for many traditions. Yes scripture is the inspired Word of God but it is not God Himself. Jesus, the incarnate Word of God, has asked us to come to Him. To be in relationship with Him. When did we dismiss the reality that a relationship with Jesus is possible and central to the call of Christians.
