Grunge with Guns! A Seattle electrician shockingly discovers a dead body on the floor, above a garage, in an upscale Madison Park neighborhood. Instead of dialing the police he calls a local radio station to tell the world that he has found America's missing rock icon, Cory Fontaine, with a shotgun on top of his body. Police respond soon enough and find a suicide note which sets the tone and priority for the official investigation. Homicide detectives dismissed the case as not worthy of their attention, so they regelated the investigation to patrol officers to collect evidence, take photographs and process the scene. Months later, Sergeant Paul Barnett is startled out of sleep by loud noises only he can hear. His doctor dismisses the phenomena as 'exploding head syndrome' and calls it benign. Barnett shares his problem with vetran officer, Allison Dickson, a former Marine with spiked hair and piercings, while telling her he's had second thoughts on the official version of Fontain's death report, which left his flamboyant wife, Kim Darling, with a veritable fortune. And now, Barnett and Dickson have been called to investigate another suspicious drug overdose. This one happens to be the bassist in Kim Darling's rock group. Is it a coincidence or something far more sinister?
