This is a coming of age story about Kitchi, a young Native American boy living in the Assateague Bay area in the mid 1500's. The story is based on the historical accounts of a young Native American boy who was kidnapped by Giovanni da Verrazzano, an Italian explorer in 1524. Follow Kitchi's journey in a whole new way as the story is told through vivid illustrations.
