Life was much simpler in the 1950s when I grew up as a boy in St. Petersburg, Florida. We spent most of our time outside playing. WWII hadn't been over for long, and it was exciting to "play army". We went exploring on our bikes, looking for adventure. In this collection of stories, I'll tell you about some of my friends and the adventures we had during those long-ago childhood days. For my older readers, maybe my stories will bring back some of your own memories. I sincerely hope so! The older I get, the more I enjoy my recollections of "the old days". I think you younger readers will enjoy comparing your lives with what we oldies did.
