A beacon of hope for those affected by incarceration.
Evidentiary inference of intent, not the commission of a crime, got Ms. Carol Sing, 36 months in a prison camp and 36 months of supervised release-six, long years without freedom. This harsh sentence pulled the author, now in her eighth decade, without any criminal history, away from her loved ones and a lifetime of valuable environmental work.
