So Many Surprises is a collection of essays written following the publication of my first novel, Radiance, in 2013. The essays in this book expand on the theme of surprise including subjects of writing, spirituality, and psychology including many everyday surprises commonly missed in our hurried lives. It is the premise of this book that if we give our attention to simple wonders our lives will expand in awe and joy.
