An incredible memoir full of true stories shared by Bob Belber, 31-year career General Manager of the 17,500-seat MVP Arena located in Albany, NY who spent countless hours backstage with many of the biggest touring concert artists and bands including the Rolling Stones, Michael Buble, Willie Nelson, Rodney Dangerfield, Luther Vandross, the Foo Fighters, Lil Wayne and so many more. Bob also spent five years as the Director of Booking - US for SMG (the largest facility management company in the world at that time with nearly 300 arenas, stadiums and theaters under its management). He routed the Vince Gill & Amy Grant Christmas tour in the same year that the US went into Iraq. Before video was even coming out of Iraq, Bob connected families of service men and women in the early morning hours with their loved ones (Live) during the Christmas concert in San Antonio on a huge video screen completely surprising spouses, children and fans in attendance. Bob shares stories of him growing up the son of a commercial fisherman on a trawler in Montauk, NY where in 1965, a Russian submarine surfaced and nearly blew him and his father out of the water just miles from the US shore. This book is full of suspense and may stories will make the reader laugh until it hurts.
