Theo Ravencroft, a small village apothecary, one day discovers a wounded elf in the woods and decides to help him out. While treating the elf Theo notices a tattoo on the elf that he has seen before but knows little about. Theo finds out later on that the elf is on a mission to find someone important to the realm of the Fae. Theo curious about this person decides to help the elf locate this mysterious person. Soon Theo, the elf, and Theo's friend Sam set out on a journey across the territory in search of this person.
