In 2018, Uvalde CISD faced an F rating (59), and the COVID-19 pandemic soon compounded its struggles, with school closures and learning loss deeply affecting students and families. Their remarkable progress-from an F rating in 2018 to a B rating (80) in 2022-defied national trends and showcased the resilience, dedication, and innovation of the Uvalde CISD learning community.
