This is a story about a man and his dog. Perhaps not an ordinary dog or man. Over eight years ago they met in Ayutthaya, Thailand and we have traveled in the USA and even Belize.

It is a story about love, dedication, patience, trust, friendship and fortitude. DangNoi was a street dog. They are everywhere in many places in the world. All have short, terrible lives. And this book, hopefully, shows how one dog escapes a life of pain and early death. And how he helps a man find himself in the process.

This book is intended for children 9-14. For those who are reading, the introduction addresses this.

I hope this little book can teach respect for all life, all creatures great and small. We are hardly alone on this planet.
