Of Love and Darkness: An Odd Turn Of Events
After his wife, Amanda, dies, Quinn O'Connor is at a loss. Deeply affected, he continues pursuing his ambition of becoming a successful author, but he is dismayed by the reality of so daunting a task.
Quinn becomes isolated and reclusive after a lifetime of knowing exactly who and what he is, finding himself sinking ever deeper into his own, almost imaginary world, as he battles depression by deeply immersing himself within his imagination story writing.
Enter Lori and Jerry, brother and sister; a pair of ne'er-do-wells, always on the lookout for an easy ride in life. Lori is a skilled, practising black witch, with her brother being very much a follower. After recognising Quinn from the local hospital Jerry, follows his sister's lead in setting Quinn up as a source of income, and, perhaps, for something much darker; but Quinn is a complex man, of greater inner strength and resources than either had anticipated. Drawing on a checkered life's history and experience, including recent supernatural revelations involving creation itself, all parties are drawn into a final, deciding conflict.
