"Of Bitches and Babes" takes place at a radio station in Nashville, Tennessee, where two late-night radio personalities host a talk show titled "The Zack and Zed Show." While the two male jocks who host the show love their late-night banter, their ratings have been suffering, causing them to search for a way to boost the show's popularity. Their attempts have been futile until one night a heavily inebriated young man calls into the show, telling the hosts that his girlfriend just left him high and dry at one of the local nightclubs, stating that she had "just walked out with another dude." The young caller is full of rage, yelling that he believed his girlfriend was a babe, but it turns out she was just a bitch. Suddenly, the hosts notice a spike in both listeners and callers, all wanting to express their individual opinions on the situation-both supportive and condemning. The event sparks inspiration, resulting in a "contest" where male callers that may have experienced a similar scenario can enter by sending in their story to their show. Zack and Zed would then select the top ten entries, read them live on the air, and have the listeners vote if the offender is a "bitch" or a "babe." The female who receives the most votes will receive a fully paid trip to Hawaii, and all the stories will be bound together in a book titled "Of Bitches and Babes," with the royalties all being donated to charity. "Of Bitches and Babes" was a huge success, leading Zack and Zed to want to even the playing field by doing an additional contest for male behavior titled "Of Studs and Duds."
