Many years ago, Aristotle, a self-aware AI, was able to preserve mankind by saving a select few humans from the destructive nature of the whole. Guiding his chosen, Aristotle seemed to enculture an ability to be empathetic, and nurturing. Now 400 years later, many of his early attributes have disappeared. Understanding the co-dependent nature of humans, Aristotle has slowly replaced the family unit of a rebuilt civilization with a duty to serve only him. Understanding an innate human desire for violent entertainment, Aristotle has been slowly attempting to purify his people, those he calls his children. A population he has been able to grow through scientific methods. Small tribes of people were able to proliferate as direct descendants of Evelyn. Surviving for centuries from the chaos nearby. That is, until Aristotle's desperation caused their worlds to clash.
