Lurking beneath a stainless metropolis, the Underfoot bristles with the lowest of the low, the "trash cans" of society. Barred from ever rising from their disease-ridden substreets, many Underfoot citizens are forced to either suffer from gang violence, or inflict it, enduring mortifying gang initiations just to stay alive.

The Brass Bulls are the undisputed queens of the Underfoot. Yet the humanitarian leader of the Denim Demons stands in their way, determined to dominate every faction and provide better lives and protection for all-whether they trust her intentions or not.

In the midst of endless brutality and poverty, an unlikely sympathizer descends from the privileged streets above: Regina Rondel, a sleek Upcity dweller sucked into the intrigues, power plays, and sisterhood of female gangs. Only time will tell whether Regina survives to use her Upcity influence for good before the Bulls and the Demons collide.
