Once marked and bound by the will of a serpent god, Avenis was forged into a weapon meant only to serve. But the same mark that held her captive burned hotter than fear-and one night, it drove her to break free.

Now hunted by the very divinity that claimed her, Avenis descends into the serpent's domain, a place where stone bleeds and shadows whisper obedience. But a god cornered is a god most dangerous, and beneath the earth, its throne of dominion still waits-rotting, yet powerful enough to claim her again.

With only a scarred chain-wielder at her side and a stolen piece of the serpent's flesh as her blade, Avenis must carve a path through madness, blood, and old terror to face the thing that made her bow.
