Who thinks they know about the education system in our country? Well, we all do; right? After all, the vast majority of us went to one or two schools when we were young. Therefore we know something about how our current education system works. But for some reason we leave it to a very small minority of people, our politicians, our ivory tower academics and Ofsted, to tell us what to think and believe about how we should teach our children, and that is plainly wrong. How about asking a retired headteacher what is right and what is wrong with the current state of education? That might just be the correct person to ask!
