Lara and Logan have a lot in common. Lara's a photographer with a love of beautiful things, and Logan's an architect who brings beautiful things to life. They're both single parents who love their children fiercely. She has a wonderful roommate who is also her best friend. He has a couple of rowdy mates he hasn't been able to shake since university-not that he wants to. She lives in New York City, and he lives in Brooklyn. And they've both lost someone.
They think they have everything they need. They're busy. Between Lara's job, recitals, and middle school homework, she doesn't have time to think about dating. The only date she longs for is between a pint of ice cream and the latest episode of whatever baking show pops up on her streaming service. The only thing Logan wants to do with his free time is spend it with his son. As well intentioned as his friends' offers to set him up are, after his wife's death-he's not ready to move on just yet. Little do they know, it's not just a bridge that connects them.
Destiny has a something in store for them-something they share that will unexpectedly unite them.
Their daughter.
