Quinn loves her Nanni and Pappi, but she liked them a lot better before she and her father moved to their farm in the mountains. Now, Quinn has to do chores, and Nanni expects her to eat peas! Even worse? No internet. No cable. Nothing. Quinn just wants to go home to the city.

All is not well in Mother Nature's Grotto. The daffodils are refusing to sprout, and there's a strange feeling in the air. It is up to Grubroot and Thistlebomb, two small Oaklings, to travel out of the Grotto and find out what's wrong.
