Danny and Jeanie belong to a church group, administered by the local churches in their hometown. It created a bond between them that lasted throughout their high school years.

The Church played a prevalent part in Danny and Jeanie's lives. In the early years of high school, they both converted to the Catholic Church.

Just prior to entering high school Danny obtained an Amateur Radio license; requiring the knowledge of Morse code. When entering high school, he joined the school's Amateur Radio Club that had members holding a Federal Amateur Radio License.

Danny and Jeanie developed a close amity with the members of the Radio Club. They participated in many club functions and activities together.

Overseas, America was militarily involved with the Vietnam War in Asia. With the complexities of the Asian War, there was a national need for Morse code operators.

After graduation, the members of the High School's Amateur Radio Club stepped up to support the war efforts with their enlistments into the United States Air Force.

This is a story of family relationships and dedication.
