Her next employer happened to be an arch-rival of Sam's brother, sparking a bitter war of words. Sam's brother Joseph was planning to take that company by any means possible.
The relationship had been rocky from day one. Sam was already on friendly terms with his boss. Mekedo refused to accept that the working relationship posed no threat to her relationship with Sam.
