When life falls apart, you get creative.

New York was supposed to be my fresh start-a dream job, a swanky apartment, and two best friends to share it all with. Instead? One roommate got arrested, my job disappeared, and I've been fake-commuting to a job I don't have just to keep Jack, my best friend and human lie detector, from finding out I'm a total disaster.
