Pearl Dandridge, age seventeen and her two sister's Opal and Ruby fraternal twins fifteen years of age were being happily raised along with their parents, Carl and Roberta on their small farm in the small farming town of Stanhope, Missouri. Their lives will be torn apart, with trials and tribulations that befall these three young women. Through no fault of their own, they suddenly become wards of an orphanage in Springfield, Missouri. To further add to Pearl's dismay, she is forced to cope with a troublesome male orphan near her same age. At the orphanage, Brad tried his best to antagonize her. The three young women's lives are later upended when they become entangled with an outlaw gang known for robbing stagecoaches, banks, and trains and often times killing their innocent victims much like that of the famous Jesse and Frank James and the Younger gang, who wreaked havoc in Missouri territory in the late1800's.
As time progresses, to add to their wows, the Putnam gang becomes an added nemesis to reckon with.
