All Ghouella wants is to be accepted for who she is - a friendly ghost. But no one gives her a chance. Every time people see her, they scream and screech and run away.

Trouble is, it's pretty tricky working out when Halloween is if you're hiding in dark places without a watch or a phone. So Ghouella listens out for sounds of Halloween, and when she thinks she hears them, she comes out of hiding to join in the fun.
Only she keeps getting it wrong. For example, she thinks she hears the sound of a witch on a broom, so jumps out of a cupboard only to scare a cleaner sweeping a classroom. And when she hears a knock on a front door, she thinks it's trick or treaters looking for fun, so bursts into the room, only to scare people arriving for a birthday party.
Poor Ghouella just can't get it right. Will she ever find Halloween again?
