Gilded Ambitions

As Pearce's election reaches a fever pitch, Danica is thrust further into the spotlight to bolster his image. To get her accepted by their community, Pearce forces Danica to participate in The Key Biscayne Cotillion. As she's drilled on etiquette, groomed for a prestigious honor, and paraded before Key Biscayne's elite, Danica's resentment threatens to boil over and jeopardize everything.

While Pearce pulls Danica's strings, Marlowe is determined to forge her own path. Having set her sights on becoming the next student body president at their private school, Marlowe battles against a candidate who despises her father. When her opponent makes it personal, Marlowe is left to decide if victory is worth the collateral damage.

As the events barrel toward their explosive conclusions, Danica and Marlowe must determine how far they're willing to go to take charge of their destinies.
