Among their number is Lena, an aloof yet brilliant scientist; Caleb, a steadfast warrior driven by loyalty; and Evelyn, whose empathic touch binds the group together. Together, they must guard the beacon against the unyielding onslaught of the Lurkers.

The mysterious arrival of Zara, a cryptic figure with unsettling insights into the creatures' origins, offers a glint of hope. Yet as treachery and suspicion fracture their fragile alliance from within, the Lurkers evolve and unify with chilling efficiency. Desperate to turn the tide, Violis devises a perilous gambit to disrupt the Lurkers' collective consciousness by overloading the lighthouse.
