When interstellar explorers Jack and Jill land on what they think is an unclaimed world, they quickly discover they're late to the party. The planet's actual resident-a laid-back, well-read, and surprisingly hospitable "monster" named Curly-sets the record straight. From scaring off pint-sized flag planters to time-traveling for profit, the duo find themselves entangled in a bizarre, hilarious, and unexpectedly lucrative adventure. Along the way, they befriend barbecue-loving Gorn, sarcastic Andorians, and a tentacled James Cagney impersonator-all while learning that sometimes, the best way to conquer a world... is to just ask nicely.
Jack never meant to gain superpowers. He just wanted some ribs. But when an accident involving fluidic space barbecue grease leaves him with abilities beyond human comprehension (and zero instructions), the universe takes notice. Suddenly, the Gorn are tossing in unsuspecting aliens to see what happens, the Klingons are bouncing like defective action figures, and the Ferengi are smothered by their own ears-because of course they are.
But things really get out of hand when everyone from Vulcans to Jawas starts reacting unpredictably to the mystery juice. One Vulcan can't stop laughing at his own terrible jokes, a Ferengi's greed literally tries to strangle him, and the Borg-who previously swore never to return-get dragged back into the chaos against their will. Jack, Jill, and Curly, their ever-present and ever-hungry alien friend, have no idea what they've unleashed.
With species mutating left and right and the galactic economy on the verge of collapse, the team must figure out how to contain the madness-or at least profit from it. Because if there's one thing they've learned, it's that nothing sells better than a disaster wrapped in a bow.
