An Unforgettable Stranger

When Shannon's marriage disintegrates, her husband abandons her to deal with the dissolution of their affairs. Shannon is planning a long vacation after enduring Andrew's controlling behaviour for five years. Desperate to reaffirm her worth, she engages in a one-night stand with a handsome stranger, but neither she nor her companion is satisfied with one night, and the affair lasts five days.

When Shannon returns to Melbourne, images of the handsome stranger plague her. To her amazement, Jackson tracks her down, and a steamy relationship develops. The distance between them is problematic, but Jackson's estranged wife causes even more trouble.

As Shannon fights for her chance to build a future with Jackson, his issues in the West and her parents' constant badgering take their toll. With her life on hold and her reputation and job prospects ruined, Shannon can only wait for Jackson to extricate himself from his toxic relationship.
