True Love Only Happens Twice

The intriguing Black Pheasant Club on Coney Island, established in 1923, was a notorious nightclub. By 1933, it had developed a magical atmosphere that brought people together. Seven years ago, a young freshman in college began working there as a bartender, eventually becoming head bartender and assistant manager. He met a girl in college from his hometown, becoming immediate close friends. Each pursued their dreams - he becoming a famous artist, and she a famous lawyer. The artist fell in love on the Coney Island boardwalk and painted her portrait. His art agent recognized his new style and took his work to her gallery in Manhattan, making him famous. The Mayor saw the portrait which resembled his long deceased girlfriend, causing the Mayor to worry about forgotten affairs, which proposed that the girl in the painting could also be the Mayor's daughter. Further investigation revealed the deceased girlfriend had given birth to twin girls and the birth father was never found. The question remained - who and where are the children?
