Does atheism not then reveal itself as a sort of superstition? A fear of the invisible, a denial of the possible, a faith in the implausible - that all life and order arose from chaos and nothingness. It harkens back to an age when people were deemed foolish for believing in things they could not see. Ironically, in this enlightened age, it is now the fool who says in his heart, 'There is no God.' Psalm 14:1. This is not a condemnatory statement, but rather a lament for the absurdity of denying the existence of a Creator in the face of the overwhelming beauty, complexity, and orderliness of creation.

In conclusion, atheism is not a philosophy founded on reason, evidence, or science, but on a leap of faith - a faith in the impossible.
