In a world seemingly riddled with sides, divides, and social capital imbalance frameworks for the over glorification of some or any other outside of thyself, a new approach for coming home to being grounded in one's own heart is coming into existence. For the courageous seeker, threads for it are visible all around in a multitude of art forms for living. Yet, so too are there many obstacles of adversity, aggression, and challenge awaiting any who dare to step out of line and breach through veils of silence to see things anew. After a decade of being intimately exposed to thought police and nuance thought wars, as well as being heartfully entrenched in not fitting in to choosing between sides governing any scheme of such thought territories and terrain ownership, costing me so much, this work of poetic release and dance bravely overcomes with ease such trappings and soul reducing constraints.
The work vulnerably expressed herein is not for everyone. Far from it. It is not for old ways of seeing, sensing, or feeling one's way through the world. Though in a more timeless sense, perhaps it is, but not in any modern notion of what constitutes freedom, love, or tradition. For all of recorded history, creative works have been at the forefront for challenging and overcoming soul and heart inhibiting factions bound within worldly global making. The dance between heritage and culture, and many perceptions of it, have been long too repressed leading to a world somewhat plagued with identity crises, fears, and superiority complexes a plenty. The time and pathways for free flowing dreaming, however, to once more find room and prominence to thrive are upon us, regardless of if the living generation has the courage to see it or not.
In true Western fashion and tradition, may this work empower individuals to free their own hearts and minds for navigating the illusion of growing divides in this time.
