What is saving faith? There is no question more fundamental, more consequential, than this one. It is the most important question facing every single one of us, and how we answer it determines our eternal fates. The Church is inundated with millions of CINOs (Christians in Name Only) because for the past two centuries we have diluted what constitutes saving faith. Too many seeds that have fallen on the wayside, stones, and thorns have deluded themselves into thinking that they have actually fallen on good soil. That they have entered through the narrow gate. That they are saved when, in fact, they are horribly mistaken. Examine yourselves, therefore, in light of this vital and necessary exegesis of the Scriptural definition of saving faith to see if you are truly saved (2 Cor. 13:5).
