The year was 1932. Three-year-old Donald sat next to a "faceless man" who took him by train far away from his brothers at the orphanage. It was windy and dark except for the dim light of the depot in Grainfield, Kansas. Two strangers met them and took the terrified and confused little boy away to an unknown future.

MY STORY - The Life of Donald Bland pulls the reader into a gripping story of an orphan, a lost little lamb, who felt abandoned, rejected, lonely and unloved, a man who carried those childhood scars and whose life was finally redeemed by his Heavenly Father, the Shepherd of his soul.

With his niece, Barbara (Bland) Zimmerman, Don shares his incredible story of how loss and anger turned to a life of fulfillment and hope.
