As a newly divorced queer woman, Hilary must come to terms with the loss of her life as she knows it. Her only way forward is to delve into the destruction to find the parts of her that were left behind. Hilary Charlene is a poet, dance teacher, and business owner. The Aftermath of You is Hilary's debut poetry collection. Her poetry has appeared in The San Diego Poetry Annual and Poet's Underground Anthology. She has been a two time guest on KNSJ's radio show The Electric Picnic, as well as a guest on The Written Scene podcast. She has been selected to read her poetry at the San Diego Writers Festival and San Diego Ink's First Friday reading. She lives with her partner, two cats, and chihuahua in San Diego.
