By day, Valerie paints and writes poetry in a small town just outside of Paris. At night, she dances and strips at a classy cabaret called Le Theatre Coquette. Known as the Dragon Princess, this nightclub siren harbors a secret, worth millions. Guy is a real estate developer, who had been dating Gabrielle, the manager of a chocolate shop in Saint-Michel. One evening, Guy encounters Valerie at her club in Pigalle and becomes smitten by her charms. He not only struggles to choose between these two lovers, but also between having a normal, peaceful life, and one of intrigue, sexual manipulation and adventure.
Several weeks prior to Valerie and Guy's tryst, priceless works of art, including a Rembrandt, were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. The FBI are baffled as to who might have perpetrated this heist. Coincidentally, Valerie has planned to sell a rare painting to a wealthy Spanish playboy in Monte Carlo, during her and Guy's trip to the French Riviera.
Will Guy discover the Dragon Princess' secret before it's too late or will his desire for her drive him to the point of madness and self-destruction? How many people will die, as Valerie and Guy chase their passions, motivated by lust, opulence, and greed?
