What Really Counts

Cara, a Very Preterm Birth survivor with genetic anomalies, suffers severe neonatal complications, resulting in severely delayed neurological development. Constant criticism at home and in school convinces the struggling child that she is not good enough. With a fragile self-esteem, Cara completes school and steps out into the world, hoping to be seen as worthy to be included.
