My name is Tamara. I am the Queen of the undersea kingdom of Marinea on the planet Akura. My life adventure truly began with the crystal on my stomach. I was born with it, but it didn't activate until I reached puberty. After that, crystals have been the dominant force in my life. If you wish to learn about my life up to this point, you can read Series 1 and 2 of Crystal Saga. The cosmology and history that I grew up knowing highlighted my kingdom and two others. I now know that this knowledge was seriously incomplete. I have initiated diplomatic relations and Ambassadorships with the many kingdoms we have discovered on both sides of our planet, both light and dark. My name is Crystos. I am a graduate student at the Academy of Magic in the kingdom of Marinea. When I've been asked about my childhood, I had no answers. My memories began when I reached puberty. At that point, I felt drawn to the Academy, applied for admission, and was accepted. That always puzzled me, since I had no references and, apparently, no former schooling. Once I began my studies, I also became involved in teaching, as a volunteer. In addition, I joined a martial arts club and became quite proficient, earning a black belt.
