The Lord of all creation loves those who ask, and He promised them that He would answer their du'a, and that He would make their hopes come true, and that He would give them what they ask for (fulfill their request); as long as they fulfill the statutory conditions when making their du'a and any preventative factors are removed. The text from the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) shows that the supplication described as not being rejected has criteria. In fact, many texts in the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) show that the accepted du'a has rules that are necessary for the one making the du'a to be diligent in following them when making his du'a. Likewise, there are preventive factors that he must take care of so that his du'a is not rejected. The scholars have called them: the conditions and etiquettes of supplicating. And they are extremely important.
