This book tackles the difficult, but essential topic of integrity in its relationship to faith, intellectual pursuit and society at large. Being a pastor and an economist himself, the writer shows a way forward to deal with corruption, a disease that is eating away at the very fabric of our societies on different levels, while framing integrity as a virtue that goes beyond mere legal compliance. This book is a must read for professionals in different fields, both believers and nonbelievers. Different readers will be challenged in different ways. Dr. Marlon Winedt Bible Translation Consultant Nelson Foendoe (1946) started his professional career as an engineer. In 1984 he got his teaching degree in Macroeconomics & Statistics and has taught Economics in the 4th, 5th and 6th year of secondary school in Curacao until his retirement. In that same year he accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior. After having served in the Church Board of Iglesia Bida Nobo (New Life Church) for several years, in 2004, he was appointed as pastor of Iglesia Bida Nobo in Rio Canario, Curacao, where he serves to this day. Nelson is married to Lourdes Foendoe-Lovert and they have three adult children and six grandchildren.
