Cousin Lusu: A Graded Reader for Standard Four

The stories in the readers are based on events that are familiar to the pupils. The characters in the stories are children of their age. They go to school like them. Therefore the pupils enjoy reading these stories, while they are at the same time, strengthening their language skills. Teachers are advised to use the readers in class as reading practice. It is recommended that pupils read these readers outside the class so that they can practice the skills they have acquired.
