Stories of Simon: That was my name

This is a series of stories about Simon Peter, a follower of Jesus Christ. The series is taken from the gospel and decorated by the author’s imagination. In each story, new characters appear; some are mentioned in the bible, some are fiction. As it is written in the gospel… Jesus left his town of Nazareth and came to Capernaum were Simon lived. Jesus healed Simon’s mother in law, then he called Simon and his brother Andrew to follow him and become fishers of men . It was Simon who declared who Jesus was before anybody else. Jesus used Simon’s boat as a pulpit to reach the multitude. Simon was the first to argue, the first one to Propose, the first one to Declare, the first one to Dare, Always the First! Simon was the First one to Fail, Repent and bare responsibility. Simon son of Jonah…..is an inspiration for us to learn from. This series chronicles various parts of Simon’s life with the added ease of present day English language and expressions. The author and illustrator went to great length to keep the reader interested cover to cover.
