Raising Goliath the Anteater

Goliath the baby Giant Anteater needs help. He's lost his mother and needs someone to look after him until he's old enough to live alone.

Kaya, a young wildlife enthusiast, finds him and takes us through all the steps necessary to make sure Goliath can live a happy life. It includes a lot of ants, lots of hot water bottles, and a teddy bear named Ummi.

This story is based on the REAL-LIFE Goliath- a Giant Anteater that was taken into Merazonia (a wildlife rehabilitation center in Ecuador) at two months old. He was raised by the staff to ensure that he could finally be released back into the wild.

If your child enjoys learning about wildlife and different animals around the world, then this story is for them. Ten percent of all profits go towards Merazonia and their quest to help rehabilitate a wide variety of animal species that live in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest, whose habitats are constantly being threatened.
