NO SOLDIER WINS WITH THE WRONG WEAPON
No soldier goes into battle with the wrong weapon and wins. Even if you have the right weapon, fighting the wrong battle is a waste of strength, time, and opportunity - in fact, it becomes an aid to the enemy's victory.
As believers, our battles are not physical but spiritual. And every battle has its own specific weapon for victory. Many Christians today are defeated simply because they use the wrong weapon in the wrong fight.
Victory in any battle depends on: a. The right weapon b. Obedience c. Strategy d. The right timing e. The right mindset f. The right commander
God alone knows the exact weapon, method, and timing needed to win every battle. Not all battles require the same weapon - which is why we must depend on Him for instruction. Let Him teach you what to use, how to use it, and when to strike.
Psalm 144:1 - Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.
God is the ultimate Man of War, and His understanding of every battle is perfect.
John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance.
No man can win in his own strength. Jesus reminds us:
1John 15:5 - I am the vine, ye are the branches... for without me ye can do nothing.
Your human wisdom and effort cannot produce lasting victory. Scripture affirms:
1 Samuel 2:9 - ...for by strength shall no man prevail.
We must involve the Holy Spirit in every battle. On our own, we cannot raise a victorious standard against the enemy - but the Spirit of God can.
Isaiah 59:19 - When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
The Holy Spirit is our battlefield Commander. He delights to:
Counsel you into victory
Teach you into freedom
Comfort you into liberty
Intercede for you to overcome
