Eriata knows how to knit words with well-tailored lines that capture one's mind. On a canvas of words, he is the acrylic that lingers long after an artwork dries up. In this wholesome piece, he takes one on a roller coaster of memories unfolding real life scenarios. Sometimes I just want to read yet I can't help but recite. One would love to regurgitate. I love that he peels the layers o? Naija's secret and impounds them in his pieces. Relatable, and straight to the point. He is well versed with stroking one's heart to a dance. He invades the psyche and serenades one with poetry in its basic and complex forms. His poems are reflective and cut across all spheres of human endeavors - humour, sadness, anger, politics, humanity, sanity, societal ills etc. A whole meal not just to nibble on as they leave indelible imprints in your mind's eye.
