This great loss my family and I experienced doesn’t even have a word in the dictionary to describe it. Losing your child, your first born, your first love, is traumatic and leaves you with a gaping hole in your heart and I don’t believe you ever really recover.Life is different now. The truth is you just learn to accept it and adapt to the loss. However, it has taught me two things. First, life is definitely short so make the most of it. Second, to appreciate the joy of laughter for what it truly is and that is healing. Laughter is good medicine as mentioned in the Bible: A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength (Proverbs 17:22, NLT).According to Josh Billings, Laughter is the fireworks of the soul. Laughter is a life-giving force. I can’t imagine a world without laughter. I’m offering this gift to anyone who has experienced the loss of someone dear to them and has forgotten how to laugh. I trust that this gift of laughter will be your companion on the bus, in an airplane, in a taxi, at the office, in a coffee shop, at the beach, in a hotel room, or even in the comfort of your home. Laughter is contagious and I’m doing my part to share it.In memory and celebration of Anastazia Mischa Ali 4th July 2007 - 7th August 2016
