Imagining the Bible - Mar-e Cohen Bible consists of Bible stories in their original text (the Hebrew Biblical text as it appears in the Leningrad Bible), illustrated with artwork by the great artists, including Rembrandt, Tissot, Dore and many others.

It is a mosaic of story and image, old and new, a memory of the days of old. Its goal is to help children embrace the legacy of the Bible and appreciate it.

The books of Kings contain the stories of Judah and Israel Kingdoms and their kings: David, Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam and others; the exile of Israel; the exile of Judah. The second book ends with the release of Jehoiachin from prison in Babylon.

At the same time, the books describe the stories of prophets like Elijah, Elishah and others - their miracles and their influence on kings and nations.
